Ameer Abdullah may have just made the Jaguars' running back decision a lot harder. Jacksonville has a crowded backfield, and an injury to LeQuint Allen has created more opportunity for the veteran. Abdullah rushed six times for 45 yards against Carolina, averaging 7.5 yards per carry, and added three catches for 37 yards. That gave him 82 yards from scrimmage on just nine touches. With Jacksonville still sorting out the depth behind Bhayshul Tuten and Chris Rodriguez Jr., Abdullah's strong preseason showing could push him squarely into the fight for another opening-day roster spot.
