Jack Strand forces way into Falcons' initial 53 conversation

Undrafted rookie Jack Strand may have just forced his way into the Falcons' initial 53 conversation. Atlanta entered camp with uncertainty over whether it would carry a third quarterback, and Strand delivered his biggest performance yet by completing 12 of 17 passes for 212 yards and a touchdown against Indianapolis. He also added another touchdown on the ground. Strand came to Atlanta as an undrafted rookie from Minnesota State-Moorhead, but one huge preseason performance has made him much harder to stash as the Falcons approach final cuts.
