Undrafted rookie Nadame Tucker may be forcing his way into the Chargers' initial 53 conversation. Los Angeles has a crowded edge-rusher room, but Tucker keeps flashing whenever he gets an opportunity. He generated one pressure on 12 pass-rush snaps against Houston while also recording two tackles and a quarterback hit. Defensive coordinator Chris O'Leary has praised Tucker's physicality and ability to consistently get around the quarterback. Tucker is competing for lower-end rotation work in a room that includes Khalil Mack, Tuli Tuipulotu, RJ Mesidor, Bud Dupree and Kyle Kennard. The pass-rush ability is showing, but Tucker still has to prove he can hold up against the run and play disciplined football on every down.
